Dear Sir or Madame, I would like to give my feedback based on two appointments in the Royal Dentists in Dubai (root canal, cleaning, whitening). After taking a closer look at my teeth, I must admit there is a huge disproportion of the white colour. The first two teeth are only a little bit whiter but the rest are having yellow parts next to their gums. The overall result is very not satisfying. I understand that I stopped without finishing the whole session but there is no improvement. Second of all, throughout the whole session there was very little information on what is going to be done. I understand that the doctor is aware of the things they are doing, but me, as patient, was completely left out. The only things I could hear was “open, close, wider etc”. Nothing like “that my pinch, this may feel hot, this will wash it off, that might feel like sand etc”. These are very useful things that should be spoken to the patient. Next, on my two appointments I was not provided with so called caring plan. This is very unprofessional. I had to ask myself while I should be already briefed. From the beginning, I was telling that this is my first time whitening teeth and that was not taken into consideration after finishing the process. I am a patient. I do not have to know anything about the caring plan. If I had not asked I would had not been given any information. Moreover, the ultraviolet glasses were not given on time (of starting the whitening or even before). And above that, they did not protect my eyes at all. The direction of the light was coming from the floor direction while the glasses were “protecting” only from the direction in front of me. Although the doctor was very flexible, polite and nice, it does not change the thing that I feel like I have wasted 1500 dhs with no improvement. I must say, I am very disappointed with the result.
