I met Dr. Kavitha while seeking a doc for my second pregnancy. When I walked into the room her first reaction was to ask me sharply why I was there endangering people around for COVID, which was shocking to me as I was 14 weeks and she expected me to not have a routine consultation! She impatiently gave me 15 seconds to explain my med history with PCOS, GBS, strong family history of ovarian and breast cancer, first pregnancy complications, and then took me through rapid fire KYC questionnaire as she typed away vigorously on her computer. I even clarified that I had bleeding in my first 2months of preg and she offhandedly told me off saying thats normal and you dont have to see a doc for that! Any and all kind of bleeding in pregnancy must be reported to the healthcare provider in my basic understanding of medicine. Impertinent doc with no bedside manners. Will never recommend her despite all her achievements and accolades.

When you enter her office, you will not find a ton of greetings of thanks from past patients pinned around. Well, that straightens out the level of her modesty. All she cares about is the well being of the mother and the baby. Everything else is secondary. She will get angry and scold you in case you have not followed her strict advice on how to get around with your pregnancy. Don't get it wrong, thats how much concerned she is about the mother and baby. Whats on her mind is what she will tell you so at times you might think on why she was not so pleasing. Just think of her as your big, bold sister who might punch you in the face if you are naughty. Kavitha is a God's gift. She is the reason my wife had a normal first delivery. I wish there are more human beings like her. Glad that I was lucky enough to choose her as our doctor when the guy at the NMC front desk asked me which doctor I preferred for my wife's pregnancy. God shower his blessings on her and family.
